RR: Animation Test 3

Another test from my upcoming short. I'll be posting the lieca reel which is done in glorarious Stephen chicken scratch and featuring Stephen's wonderful voice doing sound effects. Wait... I'm speaking about myself in the 3rd person again.... I need to get some food into me. Enjoy the animation, leave comments.

New Old News: Forsaken

The Centre For Arts and Technology runs a class called Animation Production 200, 300,and 400, or just AnPro. AnPro is a class to simulate a working environment and is one big class project. Usually the class , goes through the preproduction stages with crafting a story, doing character designs, doing a lieca reel, and then the production begins. In Production there's modelling, texturing, rigging, and animation. After all all the production is done, then it's Post Production including rendering, rendering effects, editing and sound.
On this AnPro project I was a preproduction designer, added to the story, did some modelling, animating, texturing, a ton of rendering, edited it and went back and redid a few scenes, as well as critiquing the other team member's work and suggesting things.
Over all, our short did not turn out as well as it could have been and the team fell apart at the end. Happens with deadlines for all your classes. Still, AnPro was an interesting experience and if only our sound guys came through.... see a trend?
Anyway, here's the end result (still without sound):

Nine Inch Nails Remixes Coming Soon

If you've read previous entries of my blog you know that I'm a complete NIN-er, or FaNINtic, or, a big fan of Nine Inch Nails. I just bought Halo 23 - Survivalism, the first single to Year Zero, which came out on April 17th. While I was listening to the single I went to www.nin.com to see what other versions of Survivalism there are and saw that Nine Inch Nails have released the audio tracks of 3 more songs to the public. So stay tuned for links to my remixes of:
"Survivalism", "My Violent Heart", "Capital G" and "Me, I'm Not".

RR: Animation Tests 2

OK, another round of animation tests are ready for viewing. This one is a little bit difficult since it has the character walking down the stairs. I believe I have a good rhythm to the walk so far, just need to push it and make it a happy walk down the stairs.
